Are there health benefits to stop drinking coffee completely?

As a college student, I rely on coffee (sometimes energy drinks) to pull all nighters or get up early for class. I don't always have such bad sleeping habits, but for a while my three cups of coffee that I needed everyday was getting ridiculous. So I stopped completely. No energy drinks either. I'm trying to be healthy/ get into shape again by slowly cutting out other things from my diet (like a lot of processed foods). My dad got a little concerned and said that drinking coffee (in moderation) is actually good for someone like me who has low blood pressure. Any thoughts?

-Oh, and it's been about a month without all this caffeine and I feel pretty good now that I don't rely on any beverages to keep my energy up.
