So its a question of caffeine vs. sodium. If you are going to be drinking one of these throughout the day, which would be less deleterious to your health?

I know, I know…drink decaffeinated, and preferrably herbal tea. I do that too. But that's not the question here. I sometimes debate between coffee and bouillon (beef or chicken). Either in larger amounts isn't good for you. But if I have to pick the lesser of two evils — caffeine or sodium — which is less harmful?

I would say if your going to chose go with no salt or low salt bouillon both are bad

I'll say bouillon. Just add extra glasses of water, your protein should go up.
